Polar Client is a Minecraft client built by PolarDev and focused on Factions 1.8.9. It bundles an optimised renderer, a full set of HUD modules (FPS, CPS, keystrokes, coordinates, armour status…) and Factions-specific tools such as the cannon calculators, TNT timer and Schematica support.
Everything runs through our launcher, which handles Java, profiles and updates for you.
Polar Client targets Minecraft 1.8.9, the reference version for competitive Factions. Support for additional versions is on the roadmap — announcements are made on our Discord.
Polar Client ships no cheat and no unfair advantage. Every module is a quality-of-life or visual feature comparable to what other public clients offer, and the client is built to stay compatible with server anti-cheats.
That said, each network sets its own rules. If a server bans a specific module, disable it in the client settings before joining.
Yes — the client includes rendering and memory optimisations designed for large Factions bases and cannon fights, where vanilla Minecraft usually collapses. Real gains depend on your hardware, allocated RAM and video settings.
Head to the Download page and pick your operating system. Access requires a signed-in account with Discord linked, so the launcher can check your access before the download link is generated.
Download links are signed and short-lived. If yours expires, simply reload the page to get a fresh one.
In every case: 4 GB of RAM minimum and Java 8 or higher.
You need Java 8 or higher available on your machine. If the launcher reports that Java is missing or too old, install a recent build (Temurin or Oracle JDK), then restart the launcher.
Yes. SmartScreen warns about any executable it hasn't seen many times yet, and that reputation builds up with downloads. Choose More info then Run anyway.

Discord carries your launcher access role, your purchases and your support tickets. Linking it lets us tie your downloads and cosmetics to a single identity, and lets our team reach you when something needs attention.
Cosmetics are bound to the Minecraft account given at purchase. Make sure you enter the right username at checkout — transfers are handled case by case by support.
The store sells cosmetics: capes, bandanas, pets that float above your shoulder and companions that walk beside you at full size. Every item can be previewed in 3D on your own skin before buying.
Premium unlocks the advanced side of the client and reserved perks. The full breakdown lives on the Premium page.
Delivery is automatic once payment is confirmed. Cosmetics show up in game after a client restart. If nothing arrives within a few minutes, open a ticket on Discord with your order reference.
